Monumental murals have taken a large part in Hélène Fleury's work, since the creation of her entreprise Atelier Dufaux in 1989. In 2000, after a collaboration to the Fresque des Québécois, she created the project Les Fresques des Piliers. For the following years, she will work in Sherbrooke with the group MURIRS for the realisation of historical murals. In the summer of 2007, she realises for the group MU the first mural for a new project of revitalization in the  city of Montreal.
